Os judeus começaram como nômades, mas ao entrarem na terra que seu Deus prometeu dar aos descendentes de Abrão, se estabeleceram, mas invadidos por outras nações foram retirados à força de sua terra e escravizados, ao longo da História, por algumas potências.
Povo monoteísta (crê num só Deus) e com leis dados pelo Senhor, bem definidas, despertavam a atenção dos governantes da época. Sua principal contribuição para a civilização atual foi na escrita, pois não se desenvolveram na escultura, pintura e outros por causa da idolatria condenada pelo seu Deus.
A libertação dos hebreus do Egito, através de Moisés, já é considerada um clássico; o Holocausto, a marca não apagada da consciência semita, revelou a monstruosidade do ser humano na pessoa de Hitler, comovendo o mundo e o milagre da sobrevivência, enquanto raça, e a ascensão como nação soberana em 1948, reconhecida pela ONU, são fatos que despertam a curiosidade geral: O que eles têm de especial? O maior acontecimento de todos os tempos. O que dividiu a História em dois (antes e depois) – o nascimento, a vida, a morte e a ressurreição do Messias prometido.
Diferentemente do que eles esperavam. O Rei dos Judeus – Cristo (em grego significa: Ungido) – deveria chegar numa nuvem com poder e glória, libertando-os da escravidão e fazendo deles potência mundial. Nascido em manjedoura, dentro de um estábulo, filho de família pobre, mas rico em sabedoria e no Espírito Santo, cumpriu sua árdua missão e deixou um grande legado: a salvação pela graça, mediante a fé. Paradoxo ou não, mas o que foi perseguido e considerado um blasfemador – por se intitular filho de Deus – pelo Sinédrio (uma espécie de colegiado político, mas formado por representantes religiosos) e entregue à morte de cruz por sua própria gente; hoje é reconhecido por uma pequena parcela de judeus.
Esse movimento cresce em Israel e entre os judeus da dispersão. Fazendo juz ao ditado: “Quem desdém quer comprar”, surgem agora os judeus messiânicos, pois reconhecem Yeshua Hamashiach – Jesus é o messias.
As Comunidades Judaicas estão em polvorosa com o crescimento desse movimento judaico-messiânico, que prega o respeito às tradições judaicas e o reconhecimento de Jesus como o verdadeiro messias, porque as lideranças judaicas alegam ser isso uma agressão ao judaísmo e ao cristianismo.
Os líderes judeus vêem esse movimento com "maus olhos", alegando ser um braço dos evangélicos para proselitismo, pois acreditam que isso os faria perder sua identidade judaica.
Nos Estados Unidos, o movimento messiânico conta com quase quatro décadas, 200 comunidades aproximadamente, reunindo 20 mil adeptos.
Na Inglaterra, em Hove, East Sussex, abriram a Primeira Sinagoga Messiânica Britânica, onde realizam festas tradicionais judaicas em reverência a Yeshua - Jesus.
Já no Brasil o movimento ainda é recente, por serem poucas as comunidades que pregam o judaísmo messiânico. O Rabi Philip Sharp, líder do Shemá Yisrael - Sinagoga Messiânica -, diz que não tenta converter os judeus locais, embora haja em torno de 30 judeus que ajudam nos serviços de uma sinagoga temporária.
A Aliança Messiânica Judaica da Grã-Bretanha, a qual o rabi pertence, acredita que essa conscientização dos judeus sobre Jesus ser o Messias é um sinal da proximidade do retorno de Cristo, segundo as Sagradas Escrituras. Esta Aliança faz periodicamente uma conferência nacional dirigido pelos líderes dos judeus messiânicos da América.
Histórico
A história de judeus – cristãos ou como são conhecidos atualmente, messiânicos, começou com Jesus em Jerusalém.
Os primeiros cristãos foram todos judeus. Segundo documentação histórica, o livro chamado Atos dos Apóstolos, relata que alguns desses primeiros cristãos estranharam certos gentios (não-judeu) que desejavam se tornar cristãos. Palavras como os da circuncisão e judaizantes são comuns nos estudos bíblicos do Novo Testamento, revelando a presença de judeus seguidores de Jesus, o ungido.
A propagação das mensagens cristãs entre os gentios e o crescimento extraordinário da igreja entre eles, não estimulou os apóstolos a escreverem sobre os judeus messiânicos. A intenção maior era mostrar que o messias era pra todos e não apenas pros judeus.
Rabinos sabiam da verdade
Todos os rabinos 200 anos antes da era comum e os posteriores a essa era acreditavam que o messias viria, conforme a visão do profeta Isaías 53, registrado na tradição judaica, chamado em hebraico, Talmud. Acreditavam e comentavam sobre esse capítulo, dizendo ser o Messias sofredor e eterno no Midrash, além de convidar as pessoas: “vem e apropriem-se dos méritos do Messias”.
No Talmud está registrado que o povo de Israel oferecia no dia de perdão que em hebraico é chamado de Yom Kippur, cordeiros para o sacrifício. Eles amarravam uma fita de lã vermelha no cordeiro e nas orações desse dia. Essa fita esbranquiçava, sinal Israel de perdão dos seus pecados. No ano 70 essa fita não esbranquiçou, o povo ficou apavorado, os sacrifícios não foram aceitos, conseqüentemente não tiveram o perdão; isto aconteceu 40 anos antes da destruição do Templo.
No ano 1.100 alguns rabinos se levantaram e um deles, muito famoso, chamado Rabi Rashi, tem muitos comentários bíblicos a respeito de Isaías 53, destacando o povo de Israel como o servo sofredor pelos pecados do mundo. Mas, outro rabino Moche diz que essa versão é distorcida das Escrituras. Na verdade o sofredor não é o povo, mas o Messias.
Nota: Rabi Shlomo Yitzhaki (hebraico: רבי שלמה יצחקי), mais conhecido pelo acrônimo Rashi (hebraico: רש"י, 22 de fevereiro de 1040 – 13 de julho de 1105), foi um rabino da França, famoso como o autor dos primeiros comentários compreensivos sobre o Talmud, Torá e Tanach (Bíblia hebraica). Aclamado por sua habilidade de apresentar o significado básico do texto de uma maneira concisa ainda que lúcida, Rashi apela para ambos estudiosos avançados e iniciantes, e seu trabalho permanece uma peça central do estudo judaico contemporâneo. Seus comentários, que aparecem em muitas edições do Talmud e Torá (notavelmente o Chumash), e são comapanhia indispensável para ambos estudantes casuais e sérios dos textos primários do judaísmo (Fonte Wikipédia).
Levantou-se outro mais contemporâneo, que observou as escrituras de Isaías 53 e de Gênesis 3. 15, quando afirma que a descendência da mulher é o Messias, e este será ferido no calcanhar por satanás, que por sua vez lhe ferirá (esmagará) a cabeça fatalmente. O Talmud registra isso.
O movimento judaico-cristão se deu no final do século passado, com a fundação na Inglaterra da Aliança Judaico-Cristã Internacional. Pregando a crença em Jesus Cristo como o Messias prometido pelo Antigo Testamento, sem abandonar as tradições judaicas.
Na década de 60 foi fundada nos EUA, o Jews for Jesus, por um judeu-cristão, chamado Martin "Moishe" Rosen - 12 de abril de 1932 a 18 maio de 2010, cujo objetivo era conscientizar os judeus sobre a origem messiânica de Jesus e incentivar à criação de diversas comunidades judaico-cristãs. Tendo sido organizada, inclusive, reuniões com as lideranças judaico-messiânicas do mundo nos Estados Unidos, onde se encontra o maior reduto do segmento.
No Brasil, o movimento ainda é recente, mas o crescimento começa a chamar a atenção das autoridades judaicas e estudiosos do ramo. Em São Paulo existem várias comunidades judaico-messiânicas e no Rio de Janeiro, o primeiro templo do segmento, é o Aron Kodesh, embora haja outras comunidades, sediadas em casas, clubes e outros espaços alugados, transformando tais lugares em verdadeiras sinagogas.
A Congregação judaico-messiânica é um lugar onde judeus e gentios (não judeus) podem adorar juntos o Deus de Abraão, Isaque e Jacó, mantendo a forma e as raízes judaicas (os ritos). Rejeitam a cabala (livro místico dos semitas), mas chamam de bons ensinamentos o Midrash e o Talmud, embora reconheçam não ter inspiração divina. Sagrados mesmo são o Antigo e o Novo Testamentos.
Polêmica
O rabino messiânico, Sadi Gontow Profes, 39 anos, fundador da Congregação Israelita Messiânica Beit Israel (Casa de Israel em hebraico), em São Paulo, rejeita a idéia de evangelização aos judeus, mas alega ser um trabalho duplo de conscientização. - Nós não convertemos ninguém, mas temos um trabalho duplo, porque mostramos aos judeus a verdade sobre o messias de Israel e aos cristãos as raízes judaicas do cristianismo, arrematou o rabino.
Ao longo da História, os judeus foram perseguidos, massacrados e responsabilizados por uma série de desgraças acontecidas no mundo. As autoridades da Igreja Católica Romana os condenavam por terem crucificado Jesus e ensinavam isso aos fiéis. Muitos judeus foram martirizados por esse motivo.
O judeu quando se refere aos cristãos, não distingue evangélico de católico, considerando-os uma coisa só. Eles esqueceram que os evangélicos também foram dizimados pelos “Santos” Tribunais de Inquisição e a Noite de São Bartolomeu, onde três mil protestantes (alguns historiadores dizem de 30 a 100 mil) foram assassinados e seus corpos jogados nas ruas de Paris.
Hoje, percebe-se que as igrejas evangélicas ensinam seus membros a amarem os judeus e até realizam caravanas para a Terra Santa. O pastor Thomas L. Guilmer, da Igreja Batista de Indianópolis, em São Paulo e presidente da Associação Internacional de Missões aos Israelitas, coloca que esses judeus são importantes para os cristãos levando-os a olharem mais para a figueira (Israel).
“Eles devem ser louvados e não temidos pela colônia judaica”. Em momentos de crise, tenho percebido o valor que os judeus-cristãos têm tido, conscientizando os cristãos em geral, a agirem em favor de Israel, apelou o pastor.
Outro exemplo de perseverança e fé é o pastor e projetista mecânico, Natan Anishka, 71 anos, da Igreja Batista da Esperança, do bairro Vila Mariana, em São Paulo. Nasceu em Jerusalém, estudou na escola religiosa judaica, conhece as escrituras e a tradição rabínica e a mais de 50 anos professa sua fé em Jesus Cristo.
“Sou chamado de traidor por muitos judeus, mas não ligo. Dizem que eu não os converterei. Então digo glória a Deus, pois, também não sou convertido. Nasci judeu, morrerei judeu, porém salvo. Portanto eu confirmo: quem nasceu uma vez, morre duas vezes; quem nasceu duas vezes, morre uma vez, glória a Deus”, arrematou o pastor. Os judeus contemporâneos rejeitam a verdade que Yeshua Hamashiach, por quê? Para não darem razão ao cristianismo, pois essa mensagem é dos evangélicos, daqueles que aceitaram o Messias para o perdão dos pecados.
Sinal dos tempos
A mídia (Comunicação Social) não se cansa de mostrar pai que mata filho ou estupra a filha; filho que mata os pais; pessoas que realizam verdadeiros serial killers possessos por forças malignas; a fome, guerras, terremotos, efeito estufa, inclusive a conversão de judeus são Sinais do Fim do Tempos, que revelam a proximidade da volta do Senhor Jesus.
O livro do Apocalipse, no capítulo sete, fala dos 144 mil selados de Israel, judeus naturais, cuja cerne da sua fé está em Yeshua Hamashiach. Eles ficarão durante o período da Grande Tribulação (sete anos), após o arrebatamento, pregando o evangelho do Reino a toda criatura, resistirão ao anticristo e a sua imagem, alguns serão mortos para testemunho.
Esse povo chocou a crença dos povos antigos, por ser monoteísta (crença num só Deus), por terem uma lei tão apuradas e conseguirem influenciar outros povos, mesmo sendo escravos (só os vencedores conseguiam tal feito e isso pela força). Deus tem preservado esse povo ao longo dos tempos para cumprir com seu propósito divino. Um judeu aceitar Jesus Cristo como o seu messias tão esperado é realmente um milagre.
Culto messiânico
“Shemá Yisrael Adonai Elokêinu, Adonai Echad”
“Escute ó Israel! O Senhor é o nosso D-us, o Senhor é Um”.
Assim a Torah (Lei judaica) é ensinada na sinagoga messiânica: em hebraico, as orações tradicionais também são feitas na língua. Depois que a Torah kosher for tirada do Aron kodesh (Arca santa onde fica a Lei), os membros cantam com alegria e dançam, enquanto o pergaminho passa no meio da congregação e só os que estiveram com a cobertura, o kipá, poderão beijar ou tocá-la.
“Nós nos alegramos por termos sido usados por Deus para preservar a Torah (Lei), por isso cantamos e dançamos com ela”, arrematou o rabino Sadi Profes.
O talit, manto religioso não é obrigatório na congregação, mas o kipá é. Outro ritual é Bar-Mitsvá, quando o rapaz atinge a idade de 13 anos e assumi o cumprimento das mitsvot, preceito da Torah, daí ganha o talit e um kipá da família. Além disso, as festas tradicionais também são observadas: Yom Kippur (Dia do Perdão), Succot, Pessach (Páscoa) e outras.
“A observância dessas festas e da tradição judaica não interfere na salvação dos judeus que aceitam Jesus como seu messias, isso não quer dizer que estamos debaixo da lei. Agora na graça podemos viver muito mais a palavra”, explicou o rabino Sadi.

The Middle East always draws attention for its culture, religion and wars. The powder keg always ready to set off a possible third world war. Proof of this was Saddam Hussein's strategy called on Arab nations for a Jirah - ‘Holy War’. The concern was for the world powers, which have agreements with some of these enemy nations of Israel, to take their pain and get into the 'fight', breaking out in the notorious war.
The Jews started out as nomads, but upon entering the land that their God promised to give to the descendants of Abram, they established themselves, but invaded by other nations they were forcibly removed from their land and enslaved, throughout history, by some powers.
Monotheistic people (believe in one God) and with well-defined laws given by the Lord, aroused the attention of the rulers of the time. Their main contribution to current civilization was in writing, as they did not develop in
sculpture, painting and others because of the idolatry condemned by their God.
The liberation of the Hebrews from Egypt, through Moses, is already considered a classic; the Holocaust, the undisclosed mark of Semitic consciousness, revealed the monstrosity of the human being in Hitler, touching the world and the miracle of survival, as a race, and the rise as a sovereign nation in 1948, recognized by the UN, are facts that arouse general curiosity: What is special about them? The greatest event of all time. What divided history in two (before and after) - the birth, life, death and resurrection of the promised Messiah.
Unlike what they expected. The King of the Jews - Christ (in Greek means: Anointed) - should arrive on a cloud with power and glory, freeing them from slavery and making them a world power. Born in a manger, inside a stable, the son of a poor family, but rich in wisdom and in the Holy Spirit, he fulfilled his arduous mission and left a great legacy: salvation by grace, through faith. Paradox or not, but what was persecuted and considered a blasphemer - for calling himself son of God - by the Sanhedrin (a kind of political collegiate, but formed by religious representatives) and delivered to the death of the cross by his own people; today it is recognized by a small portion of Jews.
This movement grows in Israel and among the dispersed Jews. Living up to the saying: “Whoever disdains wants to buy”, Messianic Jews now appear, as they recognize Yeshua Hamashiach - Jesus is the Messiah.
The Jewish Communities are in an uproar with the growth of this Jewish-Messianic movement, which preaches respect for Jewish traditions and the recognition of Jesus as the true Messiah, because the Jewish leaders claim that this is an aggression against Judaism and Christianity.
Jewish leaders view this movement with "evil eyes", claiming to be an arm of evangelicals for proselytism, as they believe it would make them lose their Jewish identity.
In the United States, the Messianic movement has almost four decades, approximately 200 communities, bringing together 20 thousand adherents.
In England, in Hove, East Sussex, they opened the First British Messianic Synagogue, where they hold traditional Jewish festivals in awe of Yeshua - Jesus.
In Brazil, the movement is still recent, as there are few communities that preach Messianic Judaism. Rabbi Philip Sharp, leader of Shema Yisrael - Messianic Synagogue - says he does not try to convert local Jews, although there are about 30 Jews who help with the services of a temporary synagogue.
The Jewish Messianic Covenant of Great Britain, to which the rabbi belongs, believes that this Jewish awareness of Jesus being the Messiah is a sign of the nearness of Christ's return, according to the Holy Scriptures. This Alliance periodically holds a national conference chaired by the leaders of America's Messianic Jews.
Historic
The history of Jews - Christians or as they are known today, Messianics, started with Jesus in Jerusalem.
The first Christians were all Jews. According to historical documentation, the book called Acts of the Apostles, reports that some of these early Christians were surprised by certain Gentiles (non-Jews) who wanted to become Christians. Words like circumcision and Judaizing are common in New Testament Bible studies, revealing the presence of Jewish followers of Jesus, the anointed.
The spread of Christian messages among the Gentiles and the extraordinary growth of the church among them, did not encourage the apostles to write about Messianic Jews. The main intention was to show that the messiah was for everyone and not just for Jews.
Rabbis knew the truth
All the rabbis 200 years before the common era and those after that era believed that the messiah would come, according to the vision of the prophet Isaiah 53, recorded in the Jewish tradition, called in Hebrew, Talmud. They believed and commented on this chapter, claiming to be the suffering Messiah and eternal in the Midrash, in addition to inviting people: "come and appropriate the merits of the Messiah".
In the Talmud it is recorded that the people of Israel offered on the day of forgiveness which in Hebrew is called Yom Kippur, lambs for sacrifice. They tied a red wool ribbon on the lamb and on that day's prayers. This whitish ribbon, Israel's sign of forgiveness for their sins. In the year 70, this ribbon did not whiten, the people were terrified, the sacrifices were not accepted, consequently they did not have forgiveness; this happened 40 years before the destruction of the Temple.
In the year 1,100, some rabbis arose and one, a very famous one, named Rabbi Rashi, has many biblical comments regarding Isaiah 53, highlighting the people of Israel as the suffering servant for the sins of the world. Another more contemporary one, who observed the scriptures of Isaiah 53 and Genesis 3. 15, when he affirms that the woman's offspring is the Messiah, and that he will be wounded in the heel by Satan, who in turn will hurt (crush) him the head fatally. The Talmud records this.
The Judeo-Christian movement took place at the end of the last century, with the foundation in England of the International Judeo-Christian Alliance. Preaching the belief in Jesus Christ as the Messiah promised by the Old Testament, without abandoning Jewish traditions.
Communities
In the 1960s, Jews for Jesus was founded in the USA by a Jewish Christian named Martin "Moishe" Rosen - April 12, 1932 to May 18, 2010, whose goal was to raise awareness among the Jews about Jesus' messianic origin and encourage the creation of diverse Judeo-Christian communities. Having even organized meetings with the Jewish-Messianic leaders of the world in the United States, where the largest stronghold of the segment is located.
In Brazil, the movement is still recent, but the growth is beginning to attract the attention of Jewish authorities and scholars in the field. In São Paulo there are several Jewish-Messianic communities and in Rio de Janeiro, the first temple in the segment, is the Aron Kodesh, although there are other communities, based in houses, clubs and other rented spaces, transforming these places into true synagogues.
The Jewish-Messianic Congregation is a place where Jews and Gentiles can worship together the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, maintaining the Jewish form and roots (the rites). They reject the cabal (the mystical book of the Semites), but they call the Midrash and the Talmud good teachings, although they recognize that they have no divine inspiration. Sacred are the Old and New Testaments.
Controversy
The Messianic rabbi, Sadi Gontow Profes, 39, founder of the Israeli Messianic Congregation Beit Israel (House of Israel in Hebrew) in São Paulo, rejects the idea of evangelization to Jews, but claims to be a double job of raising awareness. - We do not convert anyone, but we have a double job, because we show the Jews the truth about the Messiah of Israel and Christians the Jewish roots of Christianity, concluded the rabbi.
Throughout history, Jews have been persecuted, massacred and held responsible for a series of misfortunes that have occurred in the world. The authorities of the Roman Catholic Church condemned them for having crucified Jesus and taught this to the faithful. Many Jews were martyred for this reason.
The Jew, when referring to Christians, does not distinguish evangelical from Catholic, considering them as one. They forgot that evangelicals were also wiped out by the "Saints" Courts of Inquisition and St. Bartholomew's Night, where three thousand Protestants (some historians say 30 to 100 thousand) were murdered and their bodies dumped on the streets of Paris.
Today, it is clear that evangelical churches teach their members to love Jews and even make caravans to the Holy Land. Pastor Thomas L. Guilmer, of the Baptist Church of Indianópolis, in São Paulo and president of the International Association of Missions to the Israelites, says that these Jews are important for Christians, leading them to look more at the fig tree (Israel). "They are to be praised and not feared by the Jewish colony." In times of crisis, I have realized the value that Jewish Christians have had, making Christians in general aware, to act in favor of Israel, appealed the pastor.
Another example of perseverance and faith is the pastor and mechanical designer, Natan Anishka, 71, of the Baptist Church of Hope, in the Vila Mariana district, in São Paulo. He was born in Jerusalem, studied at the Jewish religious school, knows the scriptures and the rabbinic tradition and for more than 50 years has professed his faith in Jesus Christ.
“I am called a traitor by many Jews, but I don't care. They say I will not convert them. So I say glory to God, because I am not converted either. I was born a Jew, I will die a Jew, but saved. So I confirm: whoever was born once, dies twice; whoever was born twice, dies once, glory to God”,concluded the pastor. Contemporary Jews reject the truth that Yeshua Hamashiach, why? In order not to give reason to Christianity, because this message is from evangelicals, from those who accepted the Messiah for the forgiveness of sins.
Sign of the times
The media (Social Communication) never tires of showing a father who kills his son or rapes his daughter; son who kills his parents; people who perform real serial killers possessed by evil forces; hunger, wars, earthquakes, the greenhouse effect, including the conversion of Jews are signs of the end of time, which reveal the proximity of the return of the Lord Jesus.
The book of Revelation, in chapter seven, speaks of the 144,000 sealed Israelites, natural Jews, whose core of their faith is in Yeshua Hamashiach. They will stay during the Great Tribulation period (seven years), after the rapture, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom to every creature, they will resist the antichrist and his image, some will be killed for testimony.
These people shocked the belief of the ancient peoples, for being monotheistic (belief in one God), for having such a refined law and being able to influence other peoples, even though they were slaves (only the winners could do this and this by force). God has preserved these people throughout the ages to fulfill their divine purpose. A Jew accepting Jesus Christ as his long-awaited messiah is truly a miracle.
Messianic worship
"Shema Yisrael Adonai Elokêinu, Adonai Echad"
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our Gd, the Lord is One ”.
Thus the Torah (Jewish law) is taught in the Messianic synagogue: in Hebrew, traditional prayers are also said in the language. After the Kosher Torah is taken from the Aron kodesh (holy ark where the Law is), the members sing with joy and dance, while the parchment passes in the middle of the congregation and only those with the cover, the kippa, can kiss or touch it.
“We are glad that we were used by God to preserve the Torah (Law), so we sing and dance with it”, concluded Rabbi Sadi Profes.
Tallit, a religious cloak is not mandatory in the congregation, but kippa is. Another ritual is Bar-Mitzvah, when the boy reaches the age of 13 and assumed the fulfillment of the mitzvot, a precept of the Torah, from there he wins the talit and a family kippah. In addition, traditional festivals are also observed: Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Succot, Pesach (Easter) and others.
“The observance of these festivals and of the Jewish tradition does not interfere in the salvation of the Jews who accept Jesus as their messiah, this does not mean that we are under the law. Now in grace we can live the word much more”, explained Rabbi Sadi.

מחלוקת
